Cookie Policy
Information about cookies, browser storage, analytics, and advertising technologies used by PDFora.
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar browser technologies may be used on PDFora for site delivery, security, preferences, and Google AdSense advertising. The PDF processing operation itself is designed to run locally in your browser and does not require an advertising cookie to transform the selected document.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text values a website or service can store through your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and other identifiers used for preferences, security, analytics, or advertising.
2. Current PDFora application
The core PDF tools do not rely on advertising cookies to read or transform a selected document. Browser memory is used during processing, and the result is provided as a local download.
PDFora’s hosting or security providers may use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent technical mechanisms when needed to deliver the website, manage traffic, or protect against abuse.
3. Essential infrastructure
Depending on the production hosting, reverse proxy, security service, or network configuration, strictly necessary technical cookies or equivalent mechanisms may be used by infrastructure providers for security, traffic management, or service delivery. Those mechanisms are separate from optional advertising or behavioral profiling.
4. Browser storage
PDFora may use browser storage for interface state or functional settings when needed. Advertising providers can also use cookies or local storage when their tags are active, subject to applicable consent choices.
Clearing cookies or site data in your browser can remove locally stored website preferences and advertising identifiers associated with that browser.
5. Advertising and analytics
PDFora may use Google AdSense to display and measure ads. When AdSense tags are active, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, limit how often an ad is shown, measure performance, detect invalid traffic, and—where permitted—personalize advertising based on user choices and activity.
Google provides more information at Google advertising technologies. You can manage Google ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
PDFora does not currently use third-party behavioral analytics to profile visitors. If a separate analytics product is introduced, this policy will be updated before or when that change applies.
6. Consent for advertising
Where consent is required for advertising cookies or personalized ads, PDFora will show an appropriate consent message before optional advertising storage is used. For users in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google requires publishers serving personalized ads to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the applicable consent framework.
Consent choices can be revisited through the consent controls made available on the site or through relevant browser and Google settings.
7. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you inspect, block, or delete cookies through privacy or site settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies used by a hosting or security layer can affect access to the website.
8. Policy updates
This Cookie Policy may change when PDFora introduces new site functionality or third-party services. The effective date will be updated when changes are published.
9. Contact
